NO SPEND WEEK!!!!

This week I'm going to really really try not to spend any money (ok Claire you can stop laughing) people who know me will know how easy I find it, but I have decided I do not NEED anything, no fabric no ribbon no flowery plates and I certainly don't need another button for as long as I live.

I will obviously still need to go food shopping but apart from that nothing else, I might be able to focus on the stuff I actually own rather than looking for new goodies.

At the moment I have so much fabric I think I could quilt most of England so I really can't buy anymore!!!! I might post a photo this week of all my fabric just to shame myself, then again maybe not you might just think I'm a greedy cow, yes Claire I know you already think that but you are steadily catching up.

So let's see how I get on shall we, I might even post every day OMG that will be strange won't it feel free to join me if you wish.

Speak soon

p.s if you're wondering who Claire is she's my big sister.

Good luck, after reading everyone's post I don't anyone needs any more!
I've been keeping a money diary for the last 6 months so i can keep an eye on where my money goes.... crap!!!
I've tried hard this week not to spend very much & it worked. I treated myself to CS finds but then had food from the cupboard & freezer to make up for it. :)

You could have said older sister instead of big ;-)

Would join you but too late, mother made me place an order on Hancocks yesterday afternoon and I would break it Thursday as a book comes out then which I will have to buy.

Would 3 days count?

Good luck with the no spend week!

Can't wait to hear how you got on!

Glad you're a Halloween fan like me, we did a Halloween themed baby shower for my SIL last year so brought loads of goodies from TK Maxx which I hope to pull out again this year.

Hi Kate,

I think I very much need a no spend week... There is so much stuff here already that needs to have the most made of it before I buy anymore... But I just can't help myself!

Although, I do think that I haven't actually bought anything so far this week... but it is only tuesday lol

Oh deary me, I certainly need a no spend week!!!!!! You are right, it's so hard to go out and see such lovely things and think you deserve a little treat! Living in a house with 4 males I tell myself i'm allowed to have little girly treats, a bud vase here, a throw there.....I have to be good now and realise my house just is not big enough anymore! Laughing! x
